Generally, if I like a song, I will join my voice in quietly as it plays. So it is in good conscience that I can say that it is rare for a song to move me to silence.

Such was the case with Bon Iver's song "Blood Bank" from their EP by the same title.

The album's ethereal alt-folk style along with Justin Vernon's heartfelt lyrics prove to be a richly rewarding experience.

Blood Bank is an album that leaves you feeling like you are participating in something greater than yourself. As if you are part of a timeless moment where we are all connected by some binding emotion.
