When I was eight, my parents made me learn how to play the violin. It is because of this that I've had a long standing love affair with instrumental and classical music.

Any song that has a violin, cello or viola is high up on my list of "amazing songs." However, it is extraordinarily difficult to find music that is able to properly mix string instruments with hip-hop beats or folk vocals.

So imagine my surprise when I came across Emily Wells, whose electronic-folk songs fuse classical instruments with hip-hop beats. Don't believe me?
