Since today is the day after Thanksgiving, I'll let you in on one of the mysteries of the world.

For many years now, it has been beyond my understanding as to why stores start playing up the Christmas angle on this day. Over night, we've suddenly gone from "It's fall" to "Hurry up, Christmas is around the corner! Bust out the lights, the Christmas music, and the fake Santa who smells of beer."

And it's not even December.
