Thank god, they aren't ruining it. Tell me, what's your favorite scene in the trailer?
EDIT: Saw this and thought it was pretty funny...

I can't wait to see it. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

I really hope now! What was your favorite scene?

I love the part where Edward is holding the apple like the book cover.

Yeah, I love that too and Rob's accent is FLAWLESS. That and "you are my life now"

Pretty nifty on grabbing the apple that falls.
They've obviously tweaked quite a bit (like Edward leaves the scene of the van accident in the parking lot instead of riding in the ambulance), so I'm going into it assuming it'll be absolutely nothing like the book. Based on my absolute horror at watching the adaptation of Atonement this weekend, I'm trying to view movie adaptations as wholly separate from the book (otherwise, I'll become one of those pretensious jerks who doesn't go to the movies).

That's probably best. Films are usually very different from the novels. Just look at A Walk to Remember. ::cringe::
However, you didn't like Atonement: the film?! I loved it! I mean it's different, but I thought the film itself was very very well done. Then again, I'm a huge film nerd and I am fascinated by how they filmed it.
