24 Hour Read-A-Thon

Tuesday, September 30, 2008

I'm back and with exciting news! I've decided to participate in the 24 hour read- a-thon hosted by The Hidden Side of a Leaf, because really what can be more amazing than reading for 24 hours straight? Nothing right? Except perhaps maybe reading while getting a foot message from Robert Pattinson as he whispers Edward Cullen-esque sweet nothings to me in a room that delicately plays Debussy. A girl can dream, can't she?

Anyway, I'd love it if you guys would suggest some books for me to read. Feel free to email me at ReadersPen@gmail.com or leave a comment! The read-a-thon is on October 18th, noon GMT which means 8 AM EST, so you know I'm going to be coffee'ing it up and red bullin' it all day long. Oh yeah, good times.

If you're interested in participating in the read-a-thon or just knowing a bit more about it, click on the image below. It will redirect you to The Hidden Side of a Leaf.

Happy reading!

P.S. I've been behind on my reviews, but check back tomorrow for something different!

  1. I'm setting that day aside to read Paper Towns (which comes out on 10/16). I'll also probably try to finish up The Line of Beauty and/or Atonement (if I'm not already done with them).

I'd recommend using it to read something you have never read or haven't read in a long time. How about Lord of the Flies, The Great Gatsby, or Brave New World?
